HELP WANTED – PERMANENT LIVE-IN CARE GIVER WANTED
Live and Work in a serene, peaceful setting on a beautiful beach in Costa Rica. I am seeking a Permanent Live-in Caregiver to provide personal care to my husband Bob, who sustained a closed head injury10 years ago and consequently has symptoms of dementia. He is mobile and lucid, but needs daily supervision on his walks, hygiene practices and diet and medication needs.

We are situated on a beautifully wooded property on the beach in Nosara, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The position includes a fully sustainable apartment just step from the beach with pool and lovely surroundings, as well as additional compensation based on Costa Rican pay rates.

Responsibilities will include:
1. Living on the premises
2. Light cooking 2 or 3 meals per day
3. Walking with Bob once or twice per day
4. Making sure he is taking his meds
5. Strictly supervising his hygiene, including some light incontinence care
6. Light laundry and picking up after Bob
7. Providing additional general care as needed
8. Oversee/feeding dog and cats when needed/ remind Bob to clean cat boxes

Ideal candidates will have:
1.A passion for elder / dementia care
2.Previous assisted living or elder care experience
3.Experience with dementia / Alzheimer patients
4.Property management and maintenance skills a plus
5.Must pass all background checks and clearances
